Escape the hustle and bustle of JBR and unwind at Smoky Beach, where my friends and I discovered a hidden gem for an evening of relaxation, shisha, and delightful cuisine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Knowing how crowded JBR can get, especially in the evenings, I booked a Careem ride for my first visit to Smoky Beach. As I made my way towards this beachfront hookah lounge, the air carried a tantalizing mix of shisha aromas.<\/p>\n\n\n

Situated right on the beach, this cosy shisha spot offers a fantastic selection of cocktails, quick bites, and hookah options, perfect for a laid-back day with loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The atmosphere at Smoky Beach was ideal for our lively group, with a great vibe and upbeat music setting the mood. We wasted no time and ordered a range of treats, including a “special” pineapple juice, Moroccan tea, assorted cakes, a salad, and a sandwich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I’m not particularly fond of shisha anymore, the irresistible aroma tempted me to take a few puffs from my friend’s “cinnamon gum” flavour. Surprisingly, the shisha was smooth and minty, with hardly any noticeable cinnamon taste or scent. Before I knew it, I had nearly claimed the hookah as my own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, my attention turned to the arrival of my mouth-watering red velvet cake and refreshing Moroccan tea. As a self-proclaimed dessert connoisseur, I have a discerning sweet tooth, but the cake surpassed my expectations, melting in my mouth with each heavenly bite. Despite feeling full from a heavy afternoon meal, I couldn’t resist devouring the entire slice of red velvet goodness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, my friend relished her flavorful Quinoa salad, a filling and satisfying option. I also sampled a small piece of sandwich, which was moist and surprisingly delicious. The portions at Smoky Beach were generous, making it easy to share and enjoy with friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the whimsy, their “special” pineapple and watermelon juices were served in the actual fruit itself, adding a playful touch to our table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, the Moroccan tea didn’t quite impress me, perhaps because it had cooled down in the chilly weather. Similarly, my friend’s chocolate cake failed to surpass the rich flavours of the red velvet masterpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I noticed that Smoky Beach had placed colourful beanbags on the sandy beach, adding a charming touch and giving the place even more character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As our evening drew to a close, we were treated to a stunning fireworks display illuminating JBR. Mesmerised by the bursts of vibrant colours, I found myself momentarily transfixed, forgetting that my Careem ride had arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, make your way to Smoky Beach on a winter evening with your friends, indulge in a shisha session accompanied by refreshing mocktails, and don’t forget to enjoy the tantalising red velvet cake as you chat the night away.<\/p>\n\n\n
