Global Village Dubai brings together people and specialities from around the world. For six months each year, you can immerse yourself in traditions, appreciate talents, and purchase products from various countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last week, my sister and I headed to Global Village to discover some of the most unique food finds!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Upon entering, we came across the “Rose Cold” ice cream stall. The talented staff creatively crafts a rose using the ice cream flavours of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A bit further down the same lane, we stumbled upon “Takoyaki,” a Japanese snack shaped like a ball. Takoyaki is cooked in a round moulded pan with wheat flour batter. They are filled with chicken, fish, or octopus and served with a sauce. This light and delicious snack is worth a try.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continued exploring and found “Wheyts Protein Ice Cream.” With a variety of delicious flavours, this ice cream can be found in various outlets across the UAE and is sure to delight health-conscious individuals with a sweet tooth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of ice cream, who could resist the fried ice cream served at the Americas pavilion? After watching numerous viral videos of cream being tossed and scraped off a frozen plate, we had to have it. Unfortunately, they weren’t serving the cotton candy shaped like a flower, but it looked enticing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Global Village caters to every budget, taste, and preference. It is a cultural festival with a wide range of food and drinks, from karak chai and samosa to unique food stalls and authentic restaurants offering their traditional specialities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ever heard of a pizza cone? If not, you need to visit Global Village and try it! It’s a pizza baked in the shape of a cone. With various flavours and a distinctive shape, this is a must-try while you shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we passed by the Syrian pavilion, we purchased their traditional tamarind drink. Sold on the streets in Syria, this drink has antibacterial and medicinal properties. It was a refreshing and energising juice much needed in the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, we went on a quest to find the Japanese dessert kiosk that sells cotton candy wrapped around ice cream! “Yuki No Hana” was easy to spot. This Japanese dessert kiosk is featured heavily on social media and serves different types of ice cream. So if you’re torn between candy floss and ice cream, you can have both!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unique food stall puts a lot of effort into its creations, resulting in visually appealing and delicious treats that please both the eyes and taste buds. I must admit, though, that eating this particular food item while walking around was a bit challenging, so it’s best enjoyed while seated and savouring the little piece of art!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling quite full to enjoy another speciality, we decided to explore the pavilions and see what they had to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
