Recently, I had the opportunity to attend a tasting event at Wrapchic, a unique fast food stall located in the Burjuman food court. Founded in July 2012 by Mahesh Raikar, a passionate enthusiast of Mexican and Indian cuisine, Wrapchic offers a delightful fusion of flavours.<\/p>\n\n\n

The concept behind Wrapchic is refreshingly simple. Customers can choose their desired filling and have it wrapped in their preferred type of wrap. What sets this eatery apart is its commitment to healthier fast food options, as nothing is fried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our culinary journey began with the Wraposa, a delectable combination of a samosa and a sandwich. The toasted bread enveloped a well-seasoned potato filling, which not only tasted fantastic but also felt lighter compared to traditional fried samosas. As a delightful twist, we also sampled the Wraposa with Nutella filling\u2014a perfect on-the-go snack for both children and adults in a mall setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to visiting Wrapchic, I had perused their menu and was intrigued by the prospect of trying the coconut lassi, a flavour I had yet to discover. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to savour both the coconut and mango variations. The coconut flavour was pleasantly balanced and not overwhelming, surpassing my preference for the mango alternative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wrapchos provided a creative spin on traditional nachos. Accompanied by chole masala, sour cream, and jalapenos, they left us craving for more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the diverse offerings, my personal favourite was the Quesadilla. The rich, buttery cheese perfectly complemented the slightly spicy mutton Madrasi filling, creating a harmonious blend of flavours that will surely tantalise your taste buds.<\/p>\n\n\n

We also indulged in the Burrito and a Wrap, both wrapped in flour tortillas and filled with succulent chicken Mughlai and chicken tikka. Despite my aversion to spicy food, I was pleased to discover that everything we sampled had a pleasantly mild flavour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To conclude our flavorful adventure, we were treated to Jarrito, a selection of Mexican drinks. We savoured the refreshing cola and Mandarin flavours, while the Lime flavour stood out as their best-selling option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, the next time you find yourself in Burjuman and yearning for a taste of exceptional Indian cuisine, make sure to visit Wrapchic. This dining experience promises to take you on a gastronomical journey, seamlessly blending the culinary traditions of India and Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
